Veterinary Client Liaison

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious veterinary nurse, who wants to make the move into a fast-growing company to support the growth of our unique veterinary product Expaniderm. You will join the veterinary division that has been established for four years and has veterinary technical and sales teams.

Role:

  • Liaise with territory managers to coordinate exposure of Expaniderm to target market
  • Assist the sales and technical teams in planning and executing marketing strategy
  • Provide support to veterinary clients
  • Engage with surgeons and practices to ensure a consistent marketing and sales message

Requirements:

  • Veterinary nursing degree or equivalent
  • 2 years clinical experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Past commercial/sales experiences are desirable but not necessary

Veterinary Territory Manager – London & SE

Veterinary Territory Manager – London and South East

Role Description:

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated sales person to cover London and South East England. You will join our expanding veterinary sales team to support ongoing sales efforts, working with our unique veterinary devices Expaniderm that are increasingly being used across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the following skill set/ experiences:

  • Experienced qualified vet nurse with a passion to grow into a sales role in the medical device industry, or
  • Experienced animal health sales / territory manager
  • Persuasive and influential personality supported by good presentation skills
  • A team player, with the ability to collaborate with peers across a business matrix
  • Good leadership and communication skills both orally and written
  • Sales management experience is desirable but not essential
  • MS Office suite skills are necessary

Activities to be undertaken:

The appointed candidates will work in all aspects of the Oxtex veterinary division - Expaniderm, including but not limited to:

  • Field based selling directly to veterinary surgeons throughout the UK (based upon geographic territory)
  • Promoting and selling the product through direct sales, educational sessions, veterinary conferences and CPD events
  • Supporting and working with Oxtex veterinary technical advisors
  • Identifying, networking and developing strong working relationships with key customers and customer groups

Cleanroom Validation Engineer

Task:

  • Validation activities relating to a newly installed Class 7 Cleanroom manufacturing medical devices
  • Generation of validation protocols IQ/OQ/PQ
  • Execution of validation protocols
  • Generation of validation reports

Skills:

  • Demonstrable industrial validation and technical report writing skills
  • Knowledge of clean room microbiological and particle controls
  • Experience of working to ISO 14644 & ISO 13485
  • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn and understand business processes and technologies

  • Experience of sterilisation techniques and qualification protocols

Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively and safely in the cleanroom environment according to the Oxtex Cleanroom Operations procedure.
  • Undertake routine calibration and maintenance of equipment according to established procedures.
  • Take responsibility for stock control of manufacturing materials and equipment, including incoming goods quality control checks.
  • Undertake routine cleaning and environmental controls for the cleanroom; the measurement and recording of particle counts, temperature, humidity and pressure data.
  • Maintain clean room monitoring records by inputting data where required, understand the significance of test results and prepare basic reports as required.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of applicable cleanroom standard operating procedures, work instruction and record documents; reviewing and updating as directed.

Core Competences and Experience:

  • Self-motivated and pro-active.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, multitask and work to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep detailed and timely records of all tasks completed to satisfy quality procedures.

Clinical Operations Manager/Director

Clinical Operations Manager/Director

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations team and associated functions – maintaining adherence to GCP, GLP & GMP
  • Work with regulatory department to ensure correct and current regulations are followed in the development and submission of clinical trials, PMCF, PMS and device vigilance programs.
  • Work (with CEO) with Production & Manufacturing to ensure device production and inventory management are maintained to correct levels
  • Facilitate, initiate and support audits as required.
  • Work together with relevant Oxtex staff to develop, implement and improve business processes and their associated written procedures.
  • Work with Quality group to enhance QMS development and companywide adoption and implementation, as required.
  • support updating of clinical operations plan and associated levels of risk management plan.
  • Establish the necessary H&S policies & procedures and monitor the company's adherence to them.

Core Competencies and Experience:

  • Clinical operations experience in medical device and/or small biotech/pharma setting
  • Experience in submission to NB, MHRA, EMA &/ or DIA
  • Line management experience – incl remote workers
  • Outsourcing experience - incl RFP/ RFI and outsourced partner management (supply chain management preferred)
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Independent decision making
  • Collaborative approach to working with colleagues
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
